The Cable Problem
Before this charger, my nightstand had three cables: Lightning for iPhone, magnetic puck for Apple Watch, and another cable for AirPods. Three cables, three plugs, tangled mess. 30 Days of Testing
iPhone charging speed: From 20% to 80% in approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. This is standard 15W MagSafe speed — not as fast as wired (which does it in ~1 hour) but perfectly fine for overnight charging. I placed my phone on the charger at bedtime and it was at 100% every morning.
Apple Watch: Full charge in about 2.5 hours. Since my Garmin only needs charging every 8-9 days, I mainly tested this with a borrowed Apple Watch. It charged reliably every night.
Alignment reliability: The MagSafe magnets snap the iPhone into perfect alignment every time. Zero mornings where I woke up to a dead phone because it shifted off the charger. This was my biggest concern going in — older Qi chargers were notorious for misalignment.
The Foldable Design
The charging station folds flat for travel — about the size of a deck of cards. I brought it on two trips and it replaced three chargers in my travel bag. The hinge mechanism is solid after 30 days of daily folding/unfolding.
Downsides
No USB-C power adapter included. You need a 20W+ USB-C adapter (sold separately). If you already have one from an iPhone or iPad, you're fine.
Not for Android. The MagSafe alignment is iPhone-only. Standard Qi wireless charging works with some Android phones, but without magnetic alignment you'll get misalignment issues.
Case compatibility: Works through cases up to about 3mm thick. My standard Apple silicone case was fine. Thick Otterbox-style cases may not work.

Buy this if: you have an iPhone 12 or newer, Apple Watch, and AirPods. Eliminating three cables for one is worth $28 by itself. The foldable design makes it a great travel accessory too.
Skip it if: you need the fastest possible charging (use wired), you're on Android, or you don't have multiple Apple devices.
